I grew up in North West Wales, studying Welsh at Bangor University. When I was there, I really enjoyed my time at my Christian Union, getting spiritually fed as a student myself and serving other students. I loved it so much in fact, that I stayed on to do the Relay programme.
I love the Welsh language – the stories, the poetry, the culture, how it sounds, even the grammar! But even more than my passion for Welsh, is my love for Jesus.
I grew up in a Christian family, but I remember having so many questions about who God is and how he worked. Proverbs 3: 5–6 was a passage that really helped me in my journey of doubt. I gave my life to Jesus as a little girl in my grandparent’s living room, and can look back and see how much God has blessed me so graciously and kindly as I’ve followed Him. He’s placed wonderful people around me who continually point me towards Jesus.
I’m so excited that God has opened the door for me to come and work with Christian Unions Ireland, in Galway, Limerick, Sligo, and Athlone! I love seeing students come to know more about God, to see and experience Him, and discover that he is good. I’m really excited to make the move to Ireland and see what God is going to do in these coming years across the island!
