Prayer News July 2017

1st – 7th July 

Praise God for the Irish and American students who participated in the outreach teams across Ireland as part of the Encounter summer programme. Please pray  for them as they return to Greystones this Friday to debrief and celebrate all that God has done.

Please pray for the CUI staff represented at Summer Madness in Belfast this week. Pray for them as they seek to encourage older teenagers to get involved in mission when they begin university.

Please pray for students in the West of Ireland who are helping at various camps throughout this month.

8th – 14th July

Please pray for Peter Kenny as he prepares and preaches on Sunday morning at Hillside Evangelical Church in Greystones, Co. Wicklow.

Please pray for Helen Blakey as she attends the New Wine Conference in Sligo this week as part of the welcome committee. Praise God for this opportunity that she has to build relationships with churches and students from all over the island.

15th – 21st July

Praise God for DCU and UCD CU who both had their summer planning meetings at the end of last semester. Please pray for them as they continue their plans over the summer months.

Please pray for Jeremy, Louise, and Peter as they meet during July to discuss and prepare regional training events in Leinster for the year ahead.

22nd – 28th July

Please pray for the team of eight students who will be going to Sicily this week to work with the Italian IFES movement and teach English at a camp for local students. Pray that many students would come along and hear the Gospel message.

Please pray for Amy McCall, Belfast staff worker, as she gets married this week. Pray that this would be a special day of celebration and that God would bless her and her husband as they begin this new chapter of life.

29th July – 4th August

Praise God for Jeremy Haworth’s time on staff with CUI. Pray for him and his family as they transition to the next stage of life and as they prepare to spend the next three months directing the Mark Drama in New Zealand alongside the IFES movement over there.

Please pray for the International Outreach that is happening over the next two weeks in Cork.
