Just last week the executive in Northern Ireland announced the closure of all religious buildings with the exemption of private worship, forcing Christian communities back online in attempt to resume normal church life. In the Republic of Ireland, this is nothing new, as church gatherings have been prohibited for several months now.
The question really for many Christians and church leaders alike is how should we respond to these restrictions, with many of us feeling that the Government are being unreasonable? When can we, as followers of Jesus, go against what our political leaders are telling us to do, and how can we do so in a loving way that glorifies God?
