Iryna
Galway Formation Worker
Iryna is joining the Christian Unions Ireland Formation Programme for the 2026–2027 academic year, serving alongside the staff team at the Universities in Galway. She is passionate about helping students explore the Christian faith, building meaningful relationships, and encouraging Christian students as they share the hope of the gospel on campus.
Originally from Ukraine and now based in Ireland, Iryna has a background in digital fashion design and sustainable fashion. She enjoys using creativity to connect with people and values opportunities to serve her local community. Outside of ministry, she enjoys hiking, learning new skills, and spending time with friends over a good cup of coffee.
Through the Formation Programme, Iryna is looking forward to growing in her relationship with Christ, being equipped for ministry, and serving students from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. She hopes to encourage others in their faith while helping create opportunities for students to hear and respond to the gospel.
